Message: This place doesn't have much in the way of curb appeal as we were driving by it. I had reservations when it was suggested we have lunch there after making a few runs on Gilmore's Mistake in our kayaks.. Upon entering the place there wasn't another soul insight other then the owner. Six of us took a seat at the bar and were prompltly greeted. They had one of my favorites on tap, Point Root Beer served in a glass so cold the soda became slushy. A tasty treat indeed! So good I had another. The burgers were tasty and cooked to perfection. Before we departed a few locals showed up to add to the experience.. We all look forward to coming back when we are in the area again.

Message: It may look like it isn't much on the outside, but OH MY GAWD IS THE FOOD PHENOMENAL! THE DRINKS ARE PHENOMENAL! The server was right ontop of serving us and I'd definitely come here again. Dive Bar at it's finest.

Message: Visited February 2023 - here is current menu and prices. Overall - Awesome food and prices. I had their signature famous Grudgeville Burger $10, upgraded to sliced spuds for $3 and added a piece of beer battered fried haddock for an extra $3 and for all of that it was only $16 —it was a lot of food and it was all good. The beer battered haddock was probably one of the best pieces of fried whitefish I have ever had - perfect crunch and flavor! I ordered a pint of bud light for $3 also. The bartenders very nice and overall the place was the perfect dive bar!

Message: This place is an absolute must stop! The ultimate dive bar experience. The owner, bartenders and even the chef Abe are incredibly inviting and treat everyone like an old friend. The food is out of this world. Made with care and perfection just like the old days. Fresh baked toasted buns for the burgers, hand breaded fish and the fries are made onsite. Unfortunately it's getting harder and harder to find pub and grubs like this. Highly recommend!

Message: What a great place! Stopped for lunch on the way home from a great trip and was instantly at home. From the old jukebox to the down home decorating. Was convinced to try the chicken chunks and loved them. Perfect amount of spicy, great portions to go with a few drinks. Definitely will stop again.
